There are many good candidates who deserve the support of Christian Democrats. In Minnesota Christian Democrats are supporting Sen. Paul Wellstone in his fight against former Democrat-turned ultra-conservative Republican Norman Coleman.

Paul Wellstone has led the fight on many progressive issues, and remains the one US Senator who can be counted on to represent the interests of the American people.

Norman Coleman lost in his 1998 bid for Minnesota governor to Jesse Ventura. A second statewide loss will likely end his political career. He's pretty mad about it, as this recent photo shows. Of course, we thought that about Richard Nixon, too.
